Carmel was on home turf on Tuesday 1st October, delivering an interactive Keynote and Workshop at the West Cumbria Teaching School Alliance Ebacc Day, which was held and the Eco Centre in Cockermouth – a stone’s throw from where she was born in West Cumbria!
Delighted to be invited to get the year off to a flying start with a delegation of History teachers from the Alliance, Helpful History Habits was the focus of Carmel’s keynote.
Teachers from Cockermouth, Keswick, Beacon Hill, Solway, St Josephs, Ullswater Community College and Energy Coast UTC played their part in trialling ‘take away’ ideas rooted in classroom practise designed to make a positive difference.
