Carmel's role as Team leader and trainer on either side of the England -Scotland border continues. She is delighted to have been working in schools in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Fife 2025 using video coaching to help teachers to reflect and improve their practise. Some teachers have gone to to achieve GTCS professional recognition.
Colleagues from Glenwood and Glenrothes High Schools have currently finished the programme and are completing their professional recognition following a triple cycle of video coaching following training focused on Engagement, Feedback, Challenge and Learner Self Regulation.
Carolyn Robertson Modern Foreign Languages teacher at Glenwood High School in Glenrothes said 'This is the best CPD I have done in over 20 years' Kirstin Brammah Art Teacher at Glenrothes High 'My teaching toolkit is topped up', her maths teacher colleague Alexandra Logan said 'I have loved every minute'.
Carmel will continue to work at Madras College in St Andrews, Portobello High School in Edinburgh, St Thomas Aquinas High School in Glasgow and is delighted to be starting at St Mungo's School in Glasgow too.
